THE DATSUN DEPARTMENT

I have owned four streetable Datsuns, a 260Z, my first car, followed by a Datsun 1600 and two Datsun 1000s, one of which now belongs to a friend.

I now own the Datsun 1600 and two Skylines, a 1984 DR30 Hardtop, and a 1991 R31 Wagon.

On a recent expedition to Brisbane included a good day as a spectator at the 2002 Jamboree. Chris Luu's ET Pulsar ran a best of 12.8 before having to retire with a broken gearshift linkage. On that last run the ET got to the half track point faster than ever before.
