Quids Technology has developed Promotions and Attributes features to allow Vintage Cellars to automate the generation of Web content such as “Tasting Notes”. As well as allowing the retailer to set attributes on individual products, QuidsDb provides functionality to allow attributes to flow down through hierarchical levels.
The Promotions Engine extends the pricing ability beyond the existing 20 price options. QuidsDb checks the promotion start and expiration dates, and runs all the calculations and applies the discounts or bonuses during an online checkout, at the POS, or when totalling phone orders.
