Microsoft Visual FoxPro® (VFP)
Quids software is developed in VFP which provides a very stable and robust development environment. VFP also gives QuidsDb fast database performance and the flexibility needed to meet the rigorous demands of large, real-time, multi channel retail enterprises. Some of the other benefits of developing in VFP are:

The Future of Quids Software
Our success with VFP notwithstanding, we have undertaken a project to move our systems to .NET, also a Microsoft technology. Our project is designed to meet the following criteria:
- Allow for continued support and maintenance of our existing range of solutions
- Allow for continued expansion into Web based solutions and high volume ecommerce
- Implement a staged migration or our code to .NET, beginning with background processes, and other conversion projects
- Migration of our DBMS to well supported database engines such as Microsoft SQL
- Our full .NET DBMS tested and implemented in our clients production environments well before 2014
